Cattle are herbivores by design. The most amazing thing about herbivores is their ability to convert grass into meat and milk. Grass, to humans, is of basically “zero” food value. For cattle, however, because they have a rumen, don’t only survive on it – they thrive on it! This is in almost every way: health, quality of meat and milk, and contentment. With good grazing management, cattle grazing on pasture also build soil and enhance the environment.
Our 100% grass fed beef are finished on pasture, or high quality hay (in the winter months) with no antibiotics, and no growth hormones. Just a natural forage based diet, on a chemical free pasture setting.
